Post-doctoral at POET
The Post-Doctoral Internship at POET lasts from 6 to 12 months, with the possibility of renewal. At the end of each period, the post-doctoral student must submit a detailed report on their research and activities at POET.
How to apply for a post-doc at POET
Interested researchers should contact their potential supervisor to prepare their research project, activity plan and timetable. After this initial contact, the researcher should send a request for a Post-Doctoral Internship at POET to the secretariat’s e-mail address (poet@ufc.br). The request will be analyzed by the POET Board.
Documents recquired
- research project, indicating the supervisor and subject area, with a plan of activities to be carried out and a timetable;
scanned copy of identification document; - scanned copy of the applicant’s PhD diploma
- copy of CV.
Examples of activities that can be developed, in dialogue with the supervisor
- Participation in qualification and defense boards;
- Participation in POET events;
- Organization or co-organization of POET events;
- Co-supervising master’s and PhD’s students;
- Participation in academic publications
- Participation in courses;
Application period
The selection of POET post-doctoral students is done on a continuous basis, according to the availability of supervisors.
